Screen what comes back

The 📚 Screening tab is the archive: everything you saved, in one list you can narrow from several directions at once.

Two states, and as many lists as you like

Read and Flagged are two states, the same for everybody. Reading lists are yours: the papers for one section, the good ones from yesterday's search. An article can be in several at once.

A list is made in the 🗂 Lists panel, or straight from the results of a search with Add selected to a list…. Rename it or change its note by typing in its box — it saves when the field loses focus.

An article in a list is never purged

Articles marked read are deleted at startup and their PMIDs remembered so they do not come back in later searches. An article in a list is exempt. Without that exemption a list would empty itself exactly while you were working through it.

These are database queries, not a filter applied after the fact, so the page count and the total agree with what you asked for.

Sorting: recently added, influential citations, total citations, citations per year, year, or journal SJR.

The abstract is collapsed: the title, the journal and the quartile are what you scan, and the abstract is what you open for the ones that survive.

Publication types that carry no signal — Journal Article, Research Support… — are left off. They were three lines of badges covering the ones that matter.

Getting the full text

LibKey goes through your library's subscription, if you set the library ID. Free full text appears once Unpaywall has been asked — the button above the list does a page at a time, or tick Open access (Unpaywall) in the sidebar before searching so new records arrive with it already known.
